Stapelstein

Stapelstein turns a lightweight, stackable form into movement play, building, balancing, seating and imaginative games. The elements are deliberately simple, giving children space to decide whether today’s stack is a tower, obstacle course, stepping path or something else entirely.

The Stapelstein story

Why Little Worlds loves Stapelstein

We love Stapelstein because movement becomes part of the toy shelf rather than a separate activity. The elements are easy to move, quick to reset and open enough that children continually invent new ways to use them.

Stapelstein emerged from a design process focused on bringing more movement into children’s everyday environments. The lightweight elements can be stacked, stepped on, balanced with and incorporated into games, allowing gross-motor play to happen without dedicated gym equipment. Their simplicity is important: the same pieces can support energetic obstacle courses, quiet sorting, imaginative construction or flexible seating, depending on the child and the moment.
