Holztiger Hippopotamus, small

A little hippopotamus with a wonderfully rounded body and the soft blue-grey colouring of its much larger relatives. The pale underside, pink mouth and simple painted features give this compact Holztiger figure an especially gentle appearance. Young hippos stay close to their mothers, often following them through shallow water and resting beside them on the riverbank. Pair it with the larger feeding Hippopotamus to create a lovely size contrast, or add it to a small gathering of African animals beside a watering hole.
