Product details

The Grapat Adult Nins Dark Set introduces two taller wooden figures to the familiar Nin family. Their simple, rounded silhouettes retain Grapat's understated design, while their larger proportions distinguish them from the classic Nins and smaller Baby Nins.

Finished in darker timber tones, the pair brings a warm, natural variation to an existing collection of wooden figures. The difference in scale is particularly appealing when several Nin sizes are arranged together, creating a group with visibly different heights without adding faces, clothing or fixed character details.

About Grapat

Founded in Catalonia, Spain, in 2015, Grapat is a family-owned wooden toy company built around a simple belief: children should have the freedom to play without instructions, expectations or predetermined outcomes. The name Grapat means 'a handful' in Catalan, reflecting the brand's beginnings and its philosophy of placing simple, thoughtfully made play materials into children's hands. Its distinctive collections include wooden Nins, rings, coins, bowls, platforms, figures and other loose parts. The pieces are intentionally uncomplicated, allowing children to transform them into whatever their imagination requires. Inspired by nature and the changing seasons, Grapat embraces organic forms, warm wooden textures and rich colours. Its pieces are finished by hand, giving each one an individual character while preserving the natural qualities of the wood. The beauty of Grapat lies in the relationships children create between the pieces. They can be sorted, counted, stacked, arranged into patterns or incorporated into elaborate small worlds. Rather than defining how children should play, Grapat provides the materials and leaves the possibilities open.

Why Little Worlds loves it

We love Grapat because it gives children the freedom to decide what a toy becomes. A wooden figure might be a character in a story, a piece in a sorting game or part of an elaborate imaginary world. The possibilities come from the child rather than the object. Grapat fits beautifully into the Little Worlds philosophy because its pieces are designed to work together and alongside other toys. Nins, rings, coins, bowls and other loose parts can become landscapes, patterns, collections, characters and countless imaginative creations. We particularly love how the simplicity of the shapes allows play to evolve naturally as children's interests and abilities develop.
