Rattlesnake Percussion Castanets

The Rattlesnake Percussion Castanet brings the crisp, unmistakable clicking sound of traditional castanets to a compact wooden instrument. A thumb loop holds the castanet in position while the fingers tap against its curved shell, producing a sharp rhythmic clack.

Unlike the Rod Castanets, which are shaken by their handle, this design is played directly with the fingers. The individual castanet is sold separately, allowing musicians to begin with one or use a pair for the familiar alternating rhythms associated with traditional castanet playing.
